Spay & Neuter and Vaccine Clinic

The UAF Snip n’ Go™ Clinic provides affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccines for Yavapai County cats and dogs.  The clinic is open to all income levels, with the primary goal of serving low-income pet owners. The already-low spay/neuter prices are further discounted for those who meet Arizona low-income household guidelines and are issued a Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Certificate.*

What you need to know:

  • The UAF Snip n’ Go Clinic is for Yavapai County Residents only.
  • The Clinic is limited to spay/neuter and vaccine services. Please see your pet’s veterinarian for other services.
  • Maximum weight for dog spay/neuter is 100 lbs.
  • Maximum age for dog spay/neuter is 7 years.
  • Due to liability, aggressive dogs will be turned away and a refund will be given.
  • We are unable to spay/neuter animals with heart murmurs or Brachycephalic breeds as they are prone to complications during anesthesia and we do not have the additional equipment or staff to monitor them if complications arise. Brachycephalic dog breeds include any Bulldog, Pug, Boston Terrier, Shih Tzu, Pekinese, Brussels Griffon, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and any other “smoosh face” breeds. Brachycephalic cat breeds include Persian, Himalayan, Burmese, British Shorthair, Exotic Shorthair and any other “smoosh face” breeds.
  • The clinic is open by appointment only. Please do not drop in – you will be turned away.
  • Appointments are made online. CLICK HERE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.  If no dates are listed, the clinic dates are full for your type of pet. Dog appointments fill quickly, so if an opening is not available at the moment, please check back at a later date.
  • To qualify for the Low-Income/Certificate price, you must first obtain a Spay/Neuter Certificate and provide the certificate number when making the appointment. Click here to apply for a certificate.
  • Appointment information must be approved by UAF.
  • Once your appointment is approved, a link to complete your appointment will be emailed to you. The link will include a Surgery Consent Form, payment link, and home care instructions.
