Community Pet Food Bank

The Community Pet Food Bank feeds over 500 cats and approximately 200 dogs each month.

DM18453 2Each year, we distribute more than 40,000 pounds of nutritious food for hungry cats and dogs. In addition to feeding hungry pets, one of the primary goals of the food bank is to make sure pets are spayed or neutered, and that is one of the requirements for being eligible for food. Recipients with unaltered animals are assisted through the Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Certificate Program.

Food is distributed the last Wednesday of each month from the Peavine Trail north parking lot in Prescott. Recipients are qualified based on income, and all animals in the household must be spayed or neutered. For more information on the Community Pet Food Bank or to see if you qualify for assistance, please call 928-778-2924, select #5 and leave a message with your contact information.  A volunteer will call you about the program.

The Community Pet Food Bank is made possible by generous contributions from Purina, Greater Good Charities and individual donors.  If you would like to donate to the program, click here and select Community Pet Food Bank or mail a check to P.O. Box 11133, Prescott, AZ 86304.
