Alice (German Shorthaired Pointer/Lab mix) Medium - Female

If you're looking for a hiking or adventure companion, then Alice is your girl! We think Alice might be a German Shorthaired Pointer/Lab mix. At 1-2 years old and about 50 lbs, Alice is built like an athlete -- lean and muscular! She would be a great hiking, biking or adventure companion.  After some outdoor fun, Alice likes to relax watching the world pass as she places her head on your lap. Alice loves people, playing with toys, enjoys rough housing with other dogs, but her favorite is going on long walks. She walks beautifully on leash. Because she has a big play style, older children will be best. While Alice does get along with other dogs, her rough & rowdy play style can be too much for some dogs. With that, Alice will also do well being an only dog. Being the athlete that she is, a 6ft block wall fence will keep her contained, But, really, if she's not adventuring, then she'd rather be inside with her humans. Alice is a confident, loving dog looking for her forever family.  She is not good with cats.

Our adoption fee of 250.00 helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship our adoptables out of state (Arizona) and to ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
